Comments on the Information Package accepted until December 13, 2007
The timber supply analysis is a strategic review and analysis of the resource information currently available to support the provincial Chief Forester’s determination of allowable annual cut (AAC). The purpose of the Information Package is to provide a detailed account of the factors related to timber supply that the Chief Forester must consider under the Forest Act when determining the AAC and how these will be applied in the timber supply analysis.
The Information Package is available for comment & review from October 30, 2007 to December 13, 2007. Written comments should be sent to the attention of Kathy Howard, RPF at Springer Creek Forest Products, 705 Delany Ave., Slocan, BC V0G 2G0 by December 13, 2007.
It is anticipated that the Timber Supply Analysis will be available mid-February 2008, if you would like to be notified of its release, please send an email to TFL3@springercreek.com with “Notify of Timber Supply Analysis Release” in the subject line.
